Following his joining Miami’s basketball team, Heat’s big man, Chris Bosh, has purchased one of the Miami Beach homes located on North Bay Road. The 12,000-square-foot mansion is just south of La Gorce Island and was purchased by Chris Bosh for $12.5 million. The seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion was built in 2009 and sold for $12.5 million, $3.5 million less than the listing price.
The seller was Glenna Norton who developed and completed the home in March of last year. It has seven-bedrooms, eight-bathrooms and features 20-foot ceilings, a gourmet kitchen, gym, elevator and an infinity pool with unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay.
On August 27, soon after going into contract, the home is reportedly the site where Bosh proposed to his fiancée, Adrienne Williams. Jennifer Lopez and members of the Bee Gees have also owned homes in this North Bay Road neighborhood. Matt Damon lives just a few doors away. Also a few blocks away is the home of insurance executive Mel Harris. Harris’ home is rumored to be the top choice of Dwyane Wade, who has been looking at Miami Beach homes after selling his Pinecrest home earlier this year.
