Real Estate market conditions, Single family homes statistics
During the month of August 2007, East Miami-Dade and the Miami Beaches area had an inventory of 2,167 single-family homes on the market. Over half of these Miami homes for sale were priced under $1 million dollars. There were 60 homes sold from this inflated inventory which was a 5.26% increase from the amount of home sales we had in the prior month of July. However single family home sales are still down 34.07% from last year at this time.

The following is a brake down of single family home sales, by price and comparison to July of 2007.
This information was gathered from Realtor Association of Miami-Dade County based on transactions that were conducted through its realtors.
The following statistics were gathered from areas: 12, 22, 32 and 42 which includes the areas of Golden Beach, Sunny Isles and the areas from South Beach up to North Miami Beach.
